Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies!

Hello my lovelies!

I was scrolling through Facebook the other day when I saw my lovely blogger friend Jessie had commented on a photo. The photo was of Oreo stuffed chocolate chip cookies and they looked amazing. We had a quick chat and said how yummy these would be so I decided to make them this week! This recipe involved a large amount of regular ingredients but it was a nice change to work on a bigger scale. These are super tasty and gooey with the biscuity crunch in the middle! They didn't take long to make so if you like the look of them I would definitely recommending giving it a go.

440g butter
170g light brown sugar
220g granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tbsp vanilla extract
800g plain flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
280g chocolate chips
Pack of Oreos

Pre-heat your oven to gas mark 4

Step 1: Cream together your butter and both sugars
Step 2: Add in the eggs and the vanilla extract and combine well
Step 3: In a separate bowl mix together the flour, baking powder and salt
Step 4: Slowly add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and mix well
Step 5: Once mixed add in the chocolate chips and mix again
Step 6: Take a small handful of the dough and place an Oreo on top of it. Then get another small handful and place this on top of the Oreo. Squeeze the sides to make sure the Oreo is compact
Step 7: Place your cookies on a lined baking tray and place in the oven for 13 minutes or until slightly brown on top
Step 8: Take out of the oven and leave to harden for 10 minutes
Step 9: Once hardened transfer to a wire cooling rack and leave for a further 30 minutes to fully cool
Step 10: Get a glass of milk and enjoy!
