The British Tag!

Hello my lovelies!

I saw this tag over on The Lilac Scrapbook and I thought it would be a fun little blog post! Much like Katy I am not a big tea lover so I have some British points deducted there already but hopefully I can redeem these somehow! If any of you want to do this tag too then feel free because I tag anyone!

How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?
Zero. I can only deal with tea if it has like 10 sugars in it and that is not good for me in any way shape or form. I don't feel like I am missing out without it so I just steer clear! I know I am a bad Brit but you like what you like!

Favourite part of the roast?
This is so easy, the stuffing. I have been a fan of stuffing since before I can remember. My dad always adds bits to his and it is honestly one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. I always ask my Dad to do stuffing with every roast but I don't always win that argument!

Favourite dunking biscuit?
I like to dunk my biscuits in milk and I think a chocolate bourbon is a good dunking biscuit for that! They are pretty sturdy and they don't fall off in your drink. There is nothing worse than that happening.

Favourite quintessentially British past-time?
Probably baking! I would say that is quite British wouldn't you? I am no Mary Berry though.

Favourite British word?

I am not 100% sure if this is a word with 'British' origin but it is tickety boo. I love it when someone says that life is tickety boo. It always makes me happy!

Cockney rhyming slang?
'Hank Marvin' which means to be starving. Me and my family quite often say this when we are hungry. We are obviously closet cocknies!

Favourite British sweet?

White chocolate mice. I was obsessed with these when I was little and I loved buying them in the little sweet shops - so yummy!

What would your pub be called?
Brave Heart! I would link to think I have a Brave Heart and it would be named after a film too.

No. 1 British person?
The Queen...quite literally.

Favourite shop/restaurant?
Favourite shop: Primark. Jesus I love that place. They always have such beautiful clothes and they are so cheap! Favourite restaurant: Bills. I love how cute and quirky it is and the food there is delicious. Halloumi burger...yes please!

What's the first British song that pops into your head?
Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Only the best band that has ever graced our planet!

Marmite- love or hate?
I love marmite. I don't often have it but I do really enjoy it when I do!
