Easter chick cupcakes!

Hello my lovelies!

Easter is nearly here and I have rustled up some super easy cupcakes that are perfect as gifts or to make with children. You only need 3 ingredients to make these and an optional decoration of a chick! These are really sweet and I plan on giving them to my cousins instead of Easter eggs. Eggs can get super expensive so something homemade is cheaper and I think shows more effort! I hope you all have a great Easter and here is the recipe.

200g milk chocolate
4 bars of shredded wheat
Small eggs (mini eggs or decorative ones like I have chosen)
Baby chick (18 of these were £1 in Poundland!)

Step 1: Break up your shredded wheat into a bowl. Make sure there are no lumps!
Step 2: Boil your kettle and put hot water half way up a medium sized pan. Place a heatproof bowl on top and break up your chocolate into pieces.
Step 3: Stir the chocolate until it melts and take the bowl off of the heat.
Step 4: Once melted pour the chocolate into the shredded wheat bowl and stir until all of the shredded wheat is covered.
Step 5: Spoon the mixture into cupcake cases. Make sure you make a well in the middle for your eggs and chicks to sit on.
Step 6: Put in the fridge for 2 hours to set.
Step 7: Once cool add the eggs and position your chicks. You're done!

Send me pictures if you make these! Enjoy :)
