Oreo Chocolate Tart!

So last week I stumbled across an amazing baking blog called What Jessica Baked Next. So I had a mooch through her recipes and found a no bake Oreo chocolate tart. No bake is pretty much what the title says, no oven required! I had a chat with Jessica and found out that she came up with this recipe herself, and may I just say it is heavenly. If any of you are big chocolate fans then you will adore this!  It is super easy to make and would be perfect as a treat for family, friends or any visitors you may have coming round.  Ingredients
250g oreos
90g unsalted butter
100g dark chocolate
100g milk chocolate
2 tbsp icing sugar
200ml double cream

For decoration (optional)
Whipped cream
Mini oreos

Step 1: Put all of your Oreos into a blender and blend them until they are a breadcrumb like texture.

Step 2: Melt your butter and add it to your blended Oreo mix. Mix this all together until it sticks.

Step  3: Get a 23cm loose-bottomed tart tin and place your Oreo mixture in. Flatten it as best as you can and add the mixture to the sides too.

Step 4: Break both your milk and dark chocolate into small chunks and place them into a heatproof bowl.
Step 5: Melt your chocolate in whichever way you wish to.  I chose the ban marie method. This is when you fill a saucepan with hot water and place the bowl on top. Put the saucepan on a low heat and stir your chocolate. It will start to melt, but you must keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn!

Step 6: Once your chocolate has melted leave it to cool.

Step 7: Pour your cream into another bowl and mix it until it starts to form soft peaks.


 Step 8: Next add the icing sugar to your mixed cream bowl.

Step 9: Once your chocolate has cooled pour it into your cream mixture. Mix this all together until all the ingredients are well combined.

Step 10: Pour your mixture into your Oreo crust. Use a palette knife to smooth out the mixture and to push it to the sides. Once you are happy with how it looks put it into the fridge for a minimum of 6 hours. If you wish you can leave it over night.


Once the 6 hours are up you can remove your tart from the fridge and from the tin. After this you can decorate it however you like! I went for whipped cream and mini Oreos. This pudding tastes amazing. If heaven was a type of pudding it would be this!
