Wednesday's weekly blogger #21

Hello my lovelies!

We are back again with Wednesday's weekly blogger *round of applause*. This week we have a very helpful blogger. Corinne writes some really good posts on blogging hints and tips. I love them! Ihope you enjoy her interview and the first one of 2015!

1) What’s your blog name and URL?

My blog name is skinnedcartree, at

2) How did you come up with your blog name?

Ahh, it’s a long story and I often get questioned on it! My blog name is a username I’ve used on
almost every website I’ve signed up to since I was around 12. You can read about the origins of
the name in this post here:

3) What is your blog about?

It started out as a personal style blog where I posted outfit posts of all my dresses. I have a
dress obsession, see. A year ago, I changed the niche to include other topics as I was feeling
the need to branch out and tear away from only posting outfits, it was making me feel a little
restricted. Now I post beauty, personal style posts, reviews, personal development posts and
blog tips - with the odd post about food and general lifestyle.
4) What inspired you to start blogging?

I’ve always been a bit of an internet nerd. I’ve had blog after blog in the past since I was about
16, but nothing ever really stuck for more than a year. A friend of mine started a blog and I
decided I wanted to give it a shot too. I didn’t think it would last for longer than a few months,
but two years later and I’m still here, blogging away.

5) Who is your favourite blogger to read?

A blog I always come back to when I have time is Amber from Not only
does she have the best dresses, shoes, and skirts, but her blog posts are always so well written.
Each has a story and her humour is right up my street. I can get lost on her blog for an hour at
a time!

6) What is your favourite post you have written on your blog?

I think my current favourite post is this one:
It’s about a book I read last year called the Power of Habit and how it was one of the things that
helped me change the way I live. I’m easily addicted by things and could have happily destroyed
myself with bad lifestyle choices. This book helped me see that I could replace those bad habits
with good habits. Now I’m addicted to things that have a positive impact on me, like blogging,
running and yoga.
7) What is your favourite thing about blogging?
Blogging gives me a sense of self-worth. I’ve always been a creative person but I’ve struggled
finding how to channel that passion and urge do something worth while. I’ve never been the type
of person to be able to sit and watch TV all day, I have to be doing something. Building something.
Blogging gives me a way to create, explore and challenge myself.
