Blogmas Day 24: My Christmas traditions!

Hello my lovelies!

So for me Christmas is all about the family. I see loads of my family on Christmas day and then usually see the rest of them on Boxing Day. It is nice to see everyone in such a small space of time, and it makes you appreciate them more!

So to start the day I wake up and normally find a stocking at the end of my bed. I think it is so sweet that my Mum still does this for me, she always gets useful things like eye makeup remover, underwear, tights etc.

After that we go downstairs, say hello to my Mum, Dad and sister and then we get to opening the main presents! I love seeing their faces when they open my gifts - I like to take pride in my gift giving!

Once presents have been opened we get dressed and head over to my Nan's house. My Nan lives with my Auntie, Uncle and cousins so this is always the house all the family go around. All of my cousins, aunties and uncles meet there to say Happy Christmas to everyone and to exchange presents. This is my favourite tradition because it is so nice to have everyone together.

Once we have seen everyone we go home and get on with the Christmas dinner. We set the table and make everything look festive - I will probably be taking photo's at this point too! Once the dinner is cooked we will all sit down with a glass of champagne and have a toast to Christmas.

After all the food has been eaten and crackers have been pulled we will clear everything away and then sit down to watch the Christmas EastEnders special (my favourite time!!). My Dad and sister hate it but they watch it for me and my Mum. After this though we all watch a film that everyone will like! Even though we are full to the brim we will find room for some chocolate goodness! I like this time too because it is nice family time.

When the film has ended we are all exhausted after a super long day, this is when we normally go to our rooms for some chill time - or just generally go to sleep!

What are you Christmas traditions?
