Blogmas Day 12: A Christmas DIY!

Hello my lovelies!

I am ready to admit straight away that I am not a very creative person. I have never been artistic or that good at thinking outside of the box, but one thing I am good at is being thoughtful. I much prefer a present that has had some thought put behind it than one of a larger monetary value. This is why I thought this idea was super cute and easy to do!

The idea is that you buy a mason jar (which ever size you want) and you fill it with scraps of paper saying reasons why you appreciate the person you are giving it to. They can open them all at once or just when they fill like it, that's the beauty of it! You can decorate the jar by tying a bit of ribbon around the top of the jar, you could add on some glitter letters, create a scene with stickers. Use your imagination and go wild! This idea is not expensive but it is filled with loads of sentimental value. I did a similar idea with a jar last year and called it my 'happiness jar'. I have been filling it all year with things, people or events that have made me happy and I will read through them all on New Year's Eve.

Let me know if you give this idea a go!
