Wednesday's weekly blogger #17

Hello my lovelies!

This week we have a lifestyle blogger, these kinds are definitely my favourite types of blog. While we were chatting we found out that we have mutual friends too, that don't even blog - what a small world, eh!

1) What’s your blog name and URL?
Harri's World and (although I do rather dislike it and would quite like to change it)

2) How did you come up with your blog name?
It's the second time it's been changed. I was fiddling around with lots of things, the name I originally wanted had been already taken (siiiigh) and I sorta landed on Wondrous World of Harri which I then shortened to Harri's World. It's sort of based on one of the Harry Potter soundtracks and as I'm a massive fan, I thought "hey, this sums up everything I want this blog to be about. It's my world and I believe it to be wondrous."

3) What is your blog about?
Life. Thoughts. Travelling. Anything that I'd like to share with the lovely people who spend their time reading my blog really.

4) What inspired you to start blogging?
Well, this is a story and a half. I began when I was at a bad point in my life. I had broken up with my boyf a few months before, I was recovering from depression and those who I thought were my closest friends abandoned me. I had tried talking to people, I had tried writing a diary; nothing was working. I was sat in a lecture one day and thought "f*** it, I need to get this all out" because everything was going round and round and round my head and I was very confused about everything. I wrote it all down in a massive post, and it was my most popular blog for months. I took it down in fear of it having an effect on my future relationships. I'm not ashamed, but I'd rather them not find out on the internet, you know?

5) Who is your favourite blogger to read?
Oh man, SO MANY!! I think the two I can't decide between are World of Wanderlust by Brooke Saward (if you're interested in travel, then please please go read this. It's so great) and The Lotus Creative. Kate also travels around, but she lives in Germany full time and blogs about general life also.

6) What is your favourite post you have written on your blog?

My favourite, I think, is Romantic Expectations. It's about the expectations I have for the opposite sex, with whom I always seem to be disappointed with, cause I of my high expectations/hopeless romanticness. I wrote it wondering if anyone else felt the same way.......most girls, it turns out!!!
7) What is your favourite thing about blogging?
I can get all my thoughts down, share my experiences with others and hear what other people have to say. I believe blogging very much a two-way thing.

8) Please leave any other social network links
