Dr Bronner's liquid magic soap

Hello my lovelies!

Last week I was gifted some liquid magic soap* from the spar pr company. I hadn't heard of this liquid magic soap before but I was intrigued to see what it was. Essentially this one bottle of soap has 18 different uses in one product.  By doing this it saves loads of money on other products and makes it very versatile. The 18 uses as given by the company are: massage oil, acne fighter, mouthwash, anti-frizz serum, shower body wash, pet shampoo, makeup brush cleaner, on the go cleaner, car wash, house cleaning, toothpaste, shaving foam, deodorant, allergy free soap, hand sanitizer, shampoo, soul cleaner and detergent. Obviously some of these are supposed to be a joke such as 'soul cleaner' but the rest of the uses are pretty great. The product is wholly organic and completely biodegradable and they are all made with fair trade ingredients.

Obviously I can only comment on the uses I tried which were body wash, shampoo, makeup brush cleaner, deodorant and mouthwash. I had the fragrances baby mild, rose and peppermint.

Body wash - foams well and has a really nice smell. I think I used more product compared to what I usually would though to get more foam.

Shampoo - same as the body wash, the liquid foams up well and it did leave my hair feeling clean. It added a bit of sheen to it too which was nice!

Makeup brush cleaner - this was actually really effective at this. It left my brushes feeling soft and clean and smelling beautiful!

Deodorant - I didn't enjoy using this as deodorant, the liquid got a bit messy when trying to apply it and I had to wait a while for it to sink in and dry.

Mouthwash - I was the most wary to try this one...soap in my mouth. However, after I read the ingredients and saw it was all digestible I gave it a go. To my surprise it tasted really nice and did leave my mouth feeling minty fresh.

If this product intrigues you then you can purchase travel sized versions on the ASOS website or you can go all out and get a gallon tub of it on the Dr Bronner's website! You have 9 fragrances to choose from - orange, lavender, rose, green tea, peppermint, tea tree, eucalyptus, almond and baby mild. What will your favourite be?
