Makeup revolution eye shadow haul

Hello my lovelies!

Gosh I am loving my make-up related posts this week, aren't I?! A couple of weeks ago *Makeup Revolution sent me some of their new eye shadows and pigments to try out alongside their new liquid eye primer. I normally use a primer on my eyes that has the same consistency as concealer so this liquid primer was a whole new experience for me. I can't say I am convinced but I do adore the eye shadows!

The first eye shadows are individual pans in the shade I Want U at the top and Cappuccino at the bottom. These shadows are gorgeous for autumn and I have loved wearing them during the day. The top shade has gold-brown tones whereas the bottom shade has pink-brown undertones.  Both have glitter in them and are really pigmented. I usually just wear these all over my lid and get a little bit and put it under my eye too. The last pretty much all day with no sign of creasing. I really do love these!

The next products I tried out were the eye dust pure pigments in Angelic and Agnoise. These are beautiful and shimmery and add extra sparkle to any makeup look. The pink shade didn't show up too well on me because I am really pale but the brown looked beautiful. These were a bit messy to put on but I have had that experience with all pigments I have tried. I love the finished look with these!

Aqua seal liquid primer

Lastly I was sent the liquid aqua seal eye primer. This came with instructions saying to either put this on your lid first and then the eyeshadow on top or to put it on top of your eyeshadow. I must say that I don't think that this worked well on top of eye shadows but it did work well underneath them. This worked better with the eye shadows than with the pigments. I found using this with the pigments got really messy. Now that I have experimented with it I will only use it on my lid as a base before applying eyeshadow - that way it makes the look last longer!

Have you tried any Makeup Revolution products recently? What have been your favourites?
