Makeup Revolution haul...

Hello my lovelies!

I am sure by now that you have all heard of Makeup Revolution. They have been one of the most hyped companies recently and have been going all around the blogersphere! Makeup revolution* were lovely enough to send me some of their goodies and I was so excited to try them. I wanted to see what all the hype was about, and I was definitely not disappointing.

Iconic 2 palette

I am just going to jump straight in with my favourite product that Makeup Revolution sent to me. I had heard so many people talking about the Iconic palettes and they looked great. Iconic 2 caught my eye because I only really wear brown eyeshadows. I feel they are the best shades to suit my hazel eye colour. So when I opened up my package I was super excited to see this! Many people had said that it was the same quality as Urban Decay's Naked 2 palette at a fraction of the cost, but I was dubious. However, after trying this I totally agree!

I find that the pigmentation of this eyeshadow is nearly exactly the same as Naked 2. The colour stays on your lids for the majority of the day with only a little bit of creasing near the end. These eyeshadows are powdery but are easy to blend and build for a more intense look. This palette has more shimmers then mattes so if you don't like shimemrs then this may not be for you. The only thing that I don't like is that the shades don't have any names. I like to be able to tell people a name if they say that they like my eyeshadow. I have found myself reaching for this more then my Naked 2 which was really shocked me. At £4 I would definitely re-purchase this.

Focus and Fix eye primer
The next item was their Focus and Fix eye-primer in the shade original. This has an applicator much like a concealer would do. You just put a layer on your eyelids and wait for it to dry. This does take a little while to dry but once it is on it doesn't effect the look of your eyeshadows and still lets you blend. This has definitely added an extra couple of hours to my eyeshadow usage so I am happy!

Anti-bacterial shampoo and brush cleaner
When I saw these items on the website I was intrigued as to whether they would be any good or not. These are the anti-bacterial shampoo and brush cleaner for make-up brushes. You are supposed to use these in conjunction with one another for the best results. These actually have made my brushes super soft and got the muck off pretty easily. I will write a post soon about how to use these.

Rebel with a cause - Vamp collection
As you will all know by now I adore my berry colours in Autumn and Winter. This lipstick is gorgeous and I love it so much. It is a purple shade with a marble effect sheen to it. This is called Rebel with a cause. It isn't a matte lipstick so it slides onto the lips easily and feels quite moisturising when it is on. This is part of Makeup Revolution's limited edition vamp range so if you like it, it won't be around for long!

I heart makeup eyeliners
The final products I received was a selection of their I heart makeup eyeliners. I love the selection that they gave me because of the variety of colours. The gold, green and blue look amazing under the eye for a more smokey eyed look, great for a night out. The three darker shades I have used on my water line. They go on easily and last for a few hours with only slight water reduction. The colours above are Dangerous Games, Channeling my inner, Stars come out, Lustful ways, The last laugh and One sin too many? This line of Makeup Revolution is now available in Super drug too!

The amazing thing about Makeup Revolution is that their products are high quality at such an amazing price. You won't ever find yourself paying more than around £6 for a product which is ridiculously good. If you wanted to check out their ranges then you can visit their website here.
