Kefalonia 2014...

Hello my lovelies!

Sorry I have been away for the week but I have been on HOLIDAY. I went to Kefalonia which is one of the Greek islands. Now, I have not been to a hot country abroad for 5 years so I was super excited to go. I went with my family (mum, dad and sister) and we stayed for a week. Our hotel was called Tesoro Blu and it was the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were lovely, the staff were wonderful and the scenery was beautiful. In the hotel I got dragged up to participate in some Greek dancing, it actually turned out to be lots of fun and it was a great way to get to know the staff at the hotel better. The hotel was for adults only which made it even more peaceful too - this is a place I will definitely come to again! Just around the corner was a really nice bar called Waves, yet again the people there were lovely and they did really tasty food. Between the hotel and Waves we tried a lot of cocktails during our week there, a picture below shows the ones I tried. The temperature ranged from 30-35 degrees Celsius while we were there, definitely hot enough! Unfortunately I did get very burnt but I didn't let that put me off of my holiday. On one of the days we went on a coach trip around Kefalonia to see more of the island. We went to see Melissani lake and cave, Myrtos beach and some local places and restaurants. All of the places here are so picturesque, they look like they are from a postcard! I didn't want to come home but I just appreciate even getting the chance to go to such a beautiful part of the world. I was lucky enough to get some nice pictures from the holiday so here are a few of my favourites!
