What's in my makeup bag?...

Hello my lovelies!

I have had a few requests to write a what's in my makeup bag post, so that's what I am gonna do (got to keep the public happy). I am going to start off by saying 1) Sorry for the poor photography, my proper camera is at uni so I am making do with my iPhone camera 2) These products aren't new for me so they don't look all shiny and pristine - lets say they look well used and loved? I am so happy you agree! 3) I am not going to review these in lots of depth because then it will get all rambly. Some I have already done reviews on, some I have future reviews planned.
So let's get started first of all on my actual makeup bag - it is Cath Kidston of course and I love it. Love love love it. I am a teeny bit obsessed with them. This makeup bag is a good size, fits in lots of makeup - not ideal for travel but I just normally put what I need in my handbag and go!

Let's start with the face:

1) I use the Olay Essentials Double Action Day Cream for Normal to Dry skin (what a mouthful) this is £5.39 from Boots. This always leaves my skin feeling supple and is easy to apply. Doesn't leave your skin feeling heavy!!
2) Maybelline Fit Me Concealer (Fair), £5.99 in Boots. This is a recent purchase but I love this. It is a true match to my skin tone and blends in easily, covers my bags nicely!
3) Seventeen Photo Flawless Primer, I got this in a gift set for Christmas but there is essentially the same product here for £5.99 in Boots. This makes my makeup last a lot longer than normal without leaving my skin feeling tacky. That is all I could wish for in a primer.
 4) Stay Matte Powder by Rimmel, £3.99 in Boots. This is a bit of a cult product and I have used this since I can remember. I love it, it is great but the packaging is awful! I wanted to spread my wings a bit with powder which will explain number 6 in a minute.
5) Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation in Ivory, £6.99 in Boots. Another cult product! I have tried other foundations but none match up to this in my opinion. This is light, has good coverage and never makes me feel caked with makeup.
6) Lasting Perfection Powder from Collection, £2.99 in Boots. As I previously said, I want to try something new. I have heard good things about this, and at £2.99 what is there to lose? I will let you know more when I eventually try this!

Next is cheeks...
1) Golden Glow Illuminator by Ted Baker and 2) Ted Baker Bronzer were part of a set that I received for Christmas, my review for these have been written here
3) These are just some brushes from Seventeen, they do the job and are soft, these also came in a set I received for Christmas. I am looking to invest in some Real Techniques brushes when I have some spare money! (May be a while then :()

Next is the eyes (my favourite bit!)...

1 & 2) The Naked Basics Palette, I got this for £13 on Ebay (a right bargain!). I love all the neutral shades in this, the lighter ones do need a bit of building up on my skin because I am very pale but they are very pigmented. You only need a tiny bit of the black and this blends well.
3) Ted Baker Liquid Eyeliner, yet again this is from the gift set that can be found in the link I previously gave you :)
4) This is my FAVOURITE. This is the Sleek Eau La La Liner, £4.99 in Superdrug. This applies so well, it is jet black and lasts for ages on your water line. The fact it is under £5 and is such good quality means it is a must buy.

Last up, the eyebrows and the lips...

1) This is the AVON dark brown glimmerstick brow definer, this was a gift from my Mum but can be found for £3 (was originally £6) on the AVON website. It is the perfect match for my eyebrows and lasts all day, what more could you ask for?!
2) The last product is like a baby to me and it is the Rimmel Kate Moss 107 Lipstick,  £5.49 in Boots. I ADORE this product. It is a deep red and lasts for ages, even when eating. It is matt but I prefer that in a lipstick, especially in winter.

That's all folks! Have you used any of these products and have a different review? Any suggestions for new additions to my makeup bag?

Speak soon! xx
